GateSkate, Inc. is a privately held corporation
incorporated in the state of Washington, and financed to date with the resources of its initial organizers
and shareholders.
COMPANY LOCATION AND FACILITIES
The Company currently leases a portion of a
10,000 sq. ft. building in an industrial park located in Richland, Washington. An International Office is
located in Barcelona, Spain. The Richland facility has office space, power and IT capability and is able to
support manufacture, assembly and shipping of GateSkate Products. Production will also take place offshore
(China) using materials from multi-source vendors, using the finest of materials.
Establish GateSkate, Inc. as the dominant producer
and seller of all-terrain skates and accessories.
Extensive research and product development have resulted in a unique, efficient, proprietary design of an easy to use, smooth
riding all-terrain skate. The company's primary product, the TrailSkate all-terrain skate is designed to go over any type of
surface including asphalt, dirt, gravel, grass and mountain trails. They roll easily over bumps, cracks, and debris. Unique features
include: high-pressure pneumatic tires, single hand operated hydraulic brakes, and a convenient clamshell boot-binding system that
fits easily and securely over a skaters regular shoes. Market testing has demonstrated that the TrailSkate all-terrain skate has
strong appeal to a large cross-section of recreational sports enthusiasts including: downhill and cross-country skiers, water skiers,
snowboarders, in-line skaters, roller skaters, mountain bikers, runners and hikers. Market testing, demonstration events, and media
coverage have generated significant interest in the TrailSkate and its value for recreational use, outdoor cross training, health
and fitness aerobic exercise, and personal transportation.

GateSkate, Inc. corporate offices and manufacturing facilities moved from Tacoma, Washington to Richland, Washington. GateSkate accepted in to Tri-Cities Enterprise Center small business incubation program. |

GateSkate, Inc. invited to attend the International Trade Fair for Sports (ISPO) in Munich, Germany. Reaction from buyers and end-users was overwhelmingly positive. |

GateSkate wins New Sports Product of the Year award. In January, GateSkate, Inc. exhibited TrailSkate™ All-Terrain Skates at The Super Show 2002 in Las Vegas, NV. TrailSkate all-terrain skates were selected as one of the top 6 finalists for best New Product of the Year award by Sporting Goods Manufactures Association members. Final winner was determined by vote from more than 1500 sports editors in print and broadcast media. In June, it was announced that the TrailSkate™ All-Terrain Skate was the 2002 winner. |
